Gabrielle Kirk McDonald

Gabrielle Anne Kirk McDonald (born 1942) is an American lawyer and jurist who served as a judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. She currently serves as one of three American arbitrators on the Iran – United States Claims Tribunal seated in The Hague.[1]

McDonald was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota and raised in Manhattan and Teaneck, New Jersey, where she graduated from Teaneck High School.[2] She attended, but never graduated from, both Boston University and Hunter College. McDonald graduated from Howard University School of Law in 1966.[3]
